Need some advice - 7 months old starting daycare soon
Hi, Some of you might still know me from the long term infertility forum in which I posted a few years ago. I have been blessed and my beautiful daughter was born in early February.
I will now have to go back to work in mid September and DD will go to childcare for two days. The childcare centre is in the same building as my work and I am planning to keep breastfeeding. Ther would probably a mid-morning, lunchtime and afternoon feed.
I was wondering if you also have a little one in childcare if you could share your experiences:
Do you think it is realistic to keep breastfeeding? Would it be to distracting for DD if I feed her three times a day and then leave her again?
Should I choose two consecutive days such as Tuesday and Wednesday ot should the days be spread out such as Monday and Thursdays?
I think it's great if you can keep breastfeeding & you're so lucky that the childcare is in your building, you're always close by if dd needs you & you can still have some special moments during the day with her. I would personally space the days out because I know with my dd 2 days in a row of being out of sorts can make the next day alot harder but it's not as bad if it's just 1 day.
Good luck with going back to work
