    :( Well..Today is the day

My lil girl starts 4 year old Kindergarten today...

    I feel sick.

That's my lil baby! and she will be cared for by others who are NOT me!

She is totally excited! We have had a *countdown* on the fridge for 6 weeks now but this has still come along waaaaaaaaay too fast!

I nearly cried at the parent teacher interview the other day! so no doubt I will be holding the tears back today

    Ah well...I can do this!

No need to reply...just wanted to write it down to see if it helped! (it hasn't lol)

All the best for today Nikky. I am sure your DD will have a ball - it's always harder on us mums. Do you have anything special lined up to do? Often mums find it easier to have a coffee with a friend, get their hair done, do something special with your other little one. Sometimes is helps not to be at home without the older one on the first day.

Thinking of you hun - it does get easier. And don't worry if you cry, you won't be the first mum to cry!!

She'll be fine, and so will you. I'd suggest a nice coffee with just Miss Z to worry about

Good luck Nickky. I hope it went well. I'm sitting here typing this while my baby is off at her second day of kindy so I completely understand where you're coming from. I wanted to sit in the carpark too - you know, just in case she needed me!!! DH was a big poo though and wouldn't let me ;-) Now I'm at home and the house is waaaay too quiet . . .

Thanks SO much ladies for your replies! good to know others are going thru it as well

Well, after having miss H go on and ON and ON and ON and ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNN I was more than ready to leave her at kindy! lol

We get there, I take her in, show her where to put her things etc, say hi to the teachers and then...BAM! she was running outside to play with a *goodbye mum* over her shoulder as an AFTERTHOUGHT!

She didn't even care that I was leaving!

And, I was FINE! I didn't even get a lil emotional! so yay me!

Now, tomorrow is her first dance lesson :O

but I get to stay for that! w00t
