My little 15 month DS is having pr!ck allergy testing done this afternoon. He reacts to eggs and his reactions are getting worse so we need to have him looked at, better safe than sorry.
I'm just really nervous about what is going to happen and if he is going to hurt him. I am lucky that the paed doing it I work with and trust him but still I am nervous/worried. What happens if he has a major reaction? I couldn't sleep last night because I kept dreaming that he has an anapyhlatic (sp?) reaction and ends up in a full resuscitation.
Has anyone had this done? What can I expect? Is it going to affect him all day? Should be be expecting a bad night?
