I'm not a fan of 'just in case' either. The one time a doctor prescribed them 'just in case' and I suggested waiting to see if they were really necessary he looked at me like I was a monster. I think they are over-prescribed and it's already creating problems in the form of super bugs. But it's equally not good to start a course & then not finish it.... so I don't know
