So my DD had an endoscopy today to check out why she still has reflux at almost 3 years of age. The scope showed a pristine oesophagus! - gahhh, so not what the doctor and I were expecting but good news in a way I guess, but doesnt give any answers! However he did say that her anatomy is a bit different to normal and that her heart aorta is very close and sitting right behind her oesophagus and this could be causing the discomfort when she eats. He was talking using big words I couldn't understand or remember but when I ca,e home i went on "Dr Google" typing in some of the things he said and have come up with a vascular ring! so now I am freaking out that its not darn reflux, that its a heart defect! he said he will call me in a week with biopsy results and that we will discuss whats next then. ahhhh, just scaring myself all over again

Anyone know anything bout it? It doesn't help that my DD had high nuchal fluid when I was pregnant and when they ruled out the chromosome problems they aid it could be a heart defect but they never found one on all the ultrasounds so now I am wondering if this is related?
