Laura- OMG how terrifying... My DD has silent reflux... We havent had any seizures but i was warned that they can spew and it can sit on the voice box and it sticks together... causing bubs not to be able to cry when there is an issue... also the flap that opens (not sure what its called now) can catch the spew also... was told if this happens to blow small amounts of air in their mouth...

I have heard of seizures from high temps... did she have a fever... I am VERY shocked tha they didnt keep her in for obs... being so young... i would maybe see your family GP today for answers...

Does DD have silent reflux??? if so u may want to prop her up when she is laying down to keep the milk in her tummy a bit better i was also told to give them water after a feed to remove the milk from the mouth and throat area (after we had a near chocking incident... )

    Which hospital?

They should have kept her for observation and done a full septic workup to try and find out the cause of the seizures. Has she been unwell, or had fevers? The kind of sudden fever that causes a febrile convulsion is usually quite plain to see, and they usually cause one seizure, not one after the other.

I would see your GP and push for a referral to a paediatrician to investigate this futher. The kind of seizure you describe, and your daughter's age, does not sound consistent with a run-of-the-mill febrile convulsion to me.

Not trying to scare you but Maz very nearly lost her little Mateauz last year. He had a stroke and the she didn't know till he started having seizures.

Don't give up on hassling the Dr's till she's had tests to rule out something as serious as that.
