DD2 has excema, so we are pretty light on the bubble baths as the girls bath together.. Pretty much only soap when washing hands, otherwise scrub with face washer if grotty and Moo Goo shampoo once a week.

Was considering the vinegar in the bath - thanks for confirming I was on the right path.

It's not unheard of for young girls to get thrush. Maybe give her some probiotics and yoghurts and avoid yeasty foods to see if that helps her and if it doesn't clear get some cream for her.

Yeah they can, especially in the summer because of the weather and it is common for kids to run around in damp togs. I would see medical advice before using a thrush cream though.

I used to get it all the time as a child. From things like not wiping back to front & not wearing 100% cotton undies and also from antibiotics. Mum used to always put vinegar in my bath water, or make me sit in a basin of water. I also found that in summer if we were at nudist beaches or running around home naked, I didn't get it, because I was never in wet swimmers.

Another thing to be aware of if you have girls is the sandpit. A Dr told me to never let them play in one wearing just undies. Once they started wearing bike shorts under their dresses things imporved.

The vinegar is something I have never heard about so thanks for the hint. Useful for all ages

Ah, yes lots of running around in wet bathers the past month or so.
