DS, almost 12 months, has started vomiting quite regularly (once a day), its been going on a good month or so now. Some of them are caused by him gagging, either on a bit of food thats sitting wrong on his tongue, or because he sticks his fingers too far into his mouth But most are after bf in the evenings before bed, and are massive projectile vomits that cause even some of his lunch to come up. He could be over filling himself, but these are massive and so forceful. Its just awful to see him freak out when chunks of food get a little stuck on the way back up (we do BLW). He has started in the last few days to almost pant after some solids feeds or bf (like tonight). He is almost dry retching at the same time, and then bang big vomit everywhere. Or sometimes he coughs a little. And this happens after most solids & bf's, but doesnt always end in vomits.

I've read its normal, I havent let it stress me, but after tonights vomit I'm just feeling a bit WTF is going on!? Should I take him to our GP to have a check over?

And I have no idea if its related or not, but his sleep is just awful. It has been about 7 months now that things have been topsy turby, I'm really thinking a little more than a stage lol. 2 hours in a row is BRILLIANT overnight, and RARE. Usually he goes 1.5 hours at a couple of points in the night, mostly he wakes every hour. Lately its been every half hour or so. Last night and the night before was waking every 30mins, but stirring every 15-20mins. Doesnt matter if he is in our bed or his own, but we do have the very very odd night where once he is in our bed he'll only wake 1 or 2 more times for a feed. Teething & a WW explains the more wakefulness atm, but even when he isnt & nothing else is wrong, he still wakes at least 4 times a night (4 wakes up is a VERY good night here, and doesnt happen often).
I've taken to completely cutting out preservatives/additives/colours/flavours from our diets to see if that helps, but I've only started that today lol. So a bit of a wait to see if it helps lol. Could it be related to his vomiting though?

-sigh- Sorry this is so long, it turned into a little vent lol. I can feel myself heading back to the "wtf is going on?!" stage where everything builds up, and the exhauston takes over.
And wow ... the 25mins its taken to write this amongst eating ... the boy has woken after going to bed 25mins ago. Oh what another joyful night we are in for
