Myturn - yep you're right, I didn't realise that. But from what I've read, it's the 'last' option to go with getting grommets because there are all these natural alternatives.... I don't like the idea of my little one under GA anyway.....

Thanks guys, we'll try the ear candling next..... I will be at my health store tomorrow to get some. My DH needs some too as he has so many issues with ears we've been taking some homeopathic tablets seeing if that works, can't' remember name of them! Follow up appointment due next week with acupuncturist/kinesiologist.
