My DD started getting really dry skin around the same age, I wouldn't call it eczema but it was very dry. A friend suggested using that oil wash that starts with K in the bath, it's white with a purple lid and her dry skin cleared up quickly. I love moo goo but agree - DD has very dry cheeks from teething at the moment and moo goo isn't cutting it. We use paw paw ointment and/or zinc cream to stay on top of the cheeks.
starangelk, could it be Alpha Keri Lotion, I had infantile excaema from 6 weeks of age and my mum used to bath me in that.
I would look at cutting out things in your diet, and give it a few weeks before introducing them so they get out of both of your systems, it may be that there is an intollerance to dairy , wheat, eggs or something like that, keeping a food diary will also give you ideas on how things you eat affect DS
