mummyof4 is right, it will take 10-24 days before you will develop symptoms. It generally starts with flu-like symptoms, at which point you are contagious.

That said, at best, if you develop really early symptoms - say, in 10 days - you will still make it to Christmas, and then at best it will be another 10 days before your DD would display symptoms if she caught them from you.

well were 16 days post exposure.. so far so good, except today DD has a bit of a runny nose so hoping thats not the start of it
