I know this is an old thread (I found it while googleing hypotonia and floppy baby). I am in the US and our pediatrician, at our 6-month checkup, referred us to a neurologist and physiatrist because of hypotonia.

I was able to get an appointment with a neuro on jan 6, which is great, but the physiatrist does not have an opening until April ! Unbelievable. Now I'm trying to find another one and see if they can see me earlier, but tough luck so far.

Can you tell me how much physical therapy helped your children? I am so confused and depressed now, I cry all day long
