DD can drink normal milk without dramas now but we did have to do lactose free for the intestine detox. I think with my DD it was a reduced ability to digest fattier cow's milk stuff like cheese/yoghurt ITMS. I did reduce her dairy intake. Maybe with the BFing if you consume a lot of dairy that could have an impact too? If in a few days it hasn't cleared then it's probably best to seek a second opinion.

Thanks, I don't think it is a lactose thing though. I haven't eaten dairy in the past few days and she certainly hasn't had any. I have only just started her back on more solids today. The poor chicken has been so hungry and wanting food! I guess I will just hope for the best and try to get in to see my dr if she doesn't improve soon.

I didn't mean don't give her solids. Just avoid trying to give her fattier solids for a few days then reintroduce slowly. Avoid fattier neats and such or try to eliminate all meats in general as well as fattier dairy then creep them back in. It's hard for a tummy to digest the fattiness after a bug Has your DD improved? I'm hoping you get rest tonight!

Thanks CL - I get what you mean She has mainly been having fruit and sanwiches (these prob arent great but she loves them!). She had a semi-normal poo this morning so I am hoping this means she is on the mend!! We still didn't have a great night but we will get there.
