I was chatting to a pharmacist on the weekend who said that gastro is almost always accomanied with diahroeha (sp?).
If the child was just vomiting it could be another reason that should be checked out. If the child has tummy pains it could be numerous reasons ie, blocked bowel, appendicidis, something else.
Hope the child is okay.

Yes my understanding of gastro is that if you have it, you are vomiting and have diarrhoea too (sometimes at the same time)... (i had it recently
)
Hopefully he is ok.... he could just have a stomach virus.....
