Aww poor little thing, I think your DD will be fine, we've had plenty of falls from my 15 month old with some huge eggs on the forehead. Just keep checking on her until you go to bed.
I was told by a pead nurse when Isaac fell and smacked his so incredibly hard on cement that if there is a lump then most likely they will be fine. Still keep a close eye for y our own sake
Sounds like things will be okay. Things to look out for for a head injury are changes in behaviour, excessive sleepiness, and vomiting. If you notice any of these things, it would probably be a good idea to take them to the hospital.
If you're really concerned you can try and wake her and if she is easy to wake and seems alert then its probably all good. If not, then I'd get her check. The other thing is making sure her pupils are reactive in the light - so large in the dark and then go small when looking in a brightly lit area. If they are, again, all is good. My DD#2 is an absolute shocker for bumps, lumps and bruises and we have tiles but she is fine and has never suffered badly from her falls. Like I said, if you are concerned, best to err on the side of caution, especially for bumps to the head
Thanks you all for your suggestions. I stayed up till 2am to make sure she was ok. I woke her a few times and she was not happy to be woken but I just had to check. This morning she is her normal self so I will keep and eye on her just to make sure.
