I agree that a trip to the hospital would be the best thing. At least then you can eliminate any other possibilites if there are any and find out if he is dehydrated or anything.

Hope Brendan is feeling better real soon xx

    Thanks everyone

I headed up there about 10am, after he vomited up the hydralyte icypole and the little bit of water he took too. His temp was rising, was starting to breath a lot quicker and couldnt stand long (getting lethargic). He was also in a bit of pain.
We were seen pretty much straight away by both nurse and Dr. He was given some Phenergan (sp?) and they left him to rest. He managed to keep that down and was given another hydralyte icypole which he also managed to keep down. After about 2 hours he was starting to look better, still not himself but at least better.

The Dr didnt really want us to go, but as we live close, we've done this before and he was happy with my management plan we were able to come home. Brendan has pretty much slept the entire time.

Today he had no wet nappies, and 1.5 hydralyte icypoles (not including the one that came up) He is sitting on a foot rest with his feet in a small tub of water watching tv

He has also lost about 300grams since his last weigh two weeks ago and is now back under 12kg fully clothed.

Just have to keep an eye on him for now. And fingers crossed no-one else (especially Tristan) catches it.

    Thanks again

Poor little mite. It sounds as if you know what to look for, but be careful he doesn't get too much mnore dehydrated.

I'm surprised they gave him phenergan. Maxolon or ondansetron would be better choices.
