thank you all for the replies. We've been to the GP who thinks it's dermographia... I guess I shouldn't be surprised, as I have the same thing! DS's the big breakout just presented a little differently to mine (which is quite minor) . We've been referred to the Allergy Clinic at the RCH but apparently that may take a long time to get into. And in the interim, soothe him with something cool on it (sorbolene) or a cold compress... but no antihistamines hmm we'll see how we go. If it goes the way it has the last two nights I'll be trying to find another dr in the interim!

So saying, he seems fine today, skin just a smidge blotchy and I'm chasing up with the paediatric dietician to see if she has any recommendations... and we'll be charting reactions & food pretty careful JIC. Interestingly his eczema hasn't flared up. Go figure
