Like SS said. We changed to Dymadon and have had no trouble with DD taking it since.

as pp's said above, I had a disaster of a time getting DS to take panadol, nurofen he will take no probs, but panadol (syrup) no way, I tried everything! then I tried Dymadon, no probs at all!

I had the problem of DS throwing up everytime I gave it to him once when he was very sick, I ended up having to get suppositories, was quite traumatising for me and him! (mind you, if the pharmacy had even bothered to give me some info about how to insert them, it probably wouldnt have been so bad )

We're the same here, panadol is a nightmare and made DD spew, but she will take nurofen. Although we had to make it a game and DD is now, only just taking it from the syringe. We used to use a spoon to administer it because that wasn't foreign to her. Worked a treat for us

Dymadon or Nurofen here in a syringe no problem. We do have panadol supps as DS2 was sick with fevers and was vomiting as soon as given Dymadon, but generally is ok with it. Panadol syrup no way of kids taking.
