Can you buy any over the counter?

Thinking DD2 is in need of prednisone (sp). This is her 2nd night of barking, but she's fine & active through the day.

Just wondering if I have to have a script, or if there's something over the counter.

Remind me again what else can help? So many conflicting stories out there...
