Go up to the hossy and ask them to give him a full check. It might require a urine sample or some bloods but it is worth it.

A week with a high grade temp is too long IMO.

Ohh star, it has been a while to have the high temp, I hope you get some answers from the hospital. I am glad you will take him up there to be seen, it is better to be safe than sorry IYKWIM. Sorry to hear you have had to cancel his B'day, but once he is better the celebration will be wonderful.
