Treatment is antibiotics, yes. Oral or topical. It's not much fun. covering will help, too
Yes I have antibiotics and cream. The pharmacist said to use the repeat too, just to make sure it's gone. So that will be 18 days on AB's. Sounds like an awful lot to meThey are all around her mouth so too hard to cover, she would just pull it off. Unless I use bandaids???
Really 24 hours? I was told she is contagious for as long as the blisters are present. And that I might be pushing my luck to have her ready for daycare next Wednesday![]()
At the schools my children go to as long as the blisters are fully covered by a patch and tap they can go back to school. A bit hard around the mouth though!! My daughter got impetigo when she fell over and scratched her knee at seaworld!
