I've had it a few times in a circle on my face. I just used betadine and covered with a waterproof band aid.
It is excludable from childcare. "Exclude until appropriate treatment has commenced. Sores on exposed surfaces must be covered with a watertight dressing."
So if her sores cannot be covered or she may scratch them its probably safer to keep her at home.
