It is recommended that if you do intend seeing a chiro post birth, you do it within their first week of life. This can assist in breastfeeding etc. should they have any neck, spinal mis-alignments that often cause attachment issues. DS saw a chiro soon after birth and I will be getting our next bub in ASAP as well. It is particularly beneficial after a c-section, which can be very rough on bubs neck and shoulders.
Aside from the initial consultation, we have had ongoing chiro care for DS (DH is also a skeptic, but fortunately he just humours me and is happy to pay for DS to continue seeing our chiro). I find DS sleeps so much better after a visit. We are also working on his walking (he has quite a wide gait in his walk). Further to this, our chiro has helped us with his fussiness with food by making several suggestions and diet changes - all of which have really worked
