Right. Surgery has been scheduled for Friday.Can't wait any longer. We have no idea how long the surgery will be. The surgeon said there are too many variables to be able to predict a time. It is high risk surgery. It will be a fight for him to survive the surgery and then we will see how successful it has been in lessening the leak. He is in the best possible hands. The head of paed cardiac surgery is performing the operation himself. Gary and I are going to spend some time with our girl tomorrow before moving into the hospital for a few days. For those of you who are doing prayer chains, Charlie will need your prayers more than ever Friday from 11am and for 24 hours after surgery. Friday is going to be a long day for Gary and I- thank goodness there are a variety of pubs near the Mater!
