We are working on about 4 hours sleep all night, so while I could look for a thread I doubt I'd be able to find it at the moment anyway.

We have been up with the 5 year old most of the night. The poor possum doesn't have a cold, but does have a terrible cough but only at night. Its not a coupy cough just a continuous, something is irritating my throat sort of cough. We used the ventolin but it didn't releave it at all, tried sitting as upright as possible and again no luck. I even tried the benadryl dry tickly cough mixture (the only one I had in the house) and still no luck. The cough appeared in the early hours of yesterday morning, stopped during the day and reappeared as soon as we went to bed. Its fine this morning.

Doesnt appear sick at all, just has this persistent night time cough at the moment.

Any ideas on how to relieve the symptoms at night so that my poor poss can get some shut eye?
