Im glad he slept well at home.
My DD had night terrors, and we found it worked if we talked about happy things in a soft voice such as "tomorrow we will go to the park, and you can play on the swings. Ill push you really high, up into the sky. Then we can play in the nice warm sand and make a castle. We could have a picnic, with fresh strawberries, and some watermelon, and sit on the grass at the park" and so on.
It seemed to get through to her subconscious and she would settle down again.
