Question Pimply rash on arms and legs??

    Hi ladies,
My DS has developed a rash on the tops of his arms, front of his thighs and a bit on his lower legs. It doesn't worry him at all, but it is really worrying me. It looks like little tiny pimples and when you run your hand over them they feel quite rough. I did orignally think it was the dry skin condition called Keratosis Pilaris as DH has that a little bit, but now am not so sure. He is nearly 12 months old and only has one tooth at the moment, but is teething terribly at the moment. Could it be to do with teething? Can babies get a rash on their arms and legs with teething? He has suffered with eczema in the past, but it is definitely not this. I took him to the GP and she said if it is not worrying him to try not to worry, and I am taking him to the clinic on Friday as well to check. Have any of you ladies had anything like this? I know it doesn't worry him, but I just blame myself when he gets things like this. I am still breastfeeding him so I always tend to blame it on something I ate. What do you think?
    Thanks ladies,
    Nita

    Hi,
Prob just the teething, by the sounds of things my little miss had something similar when she was teething.

I was told by a doctor (and have been told a number of times) as long as when you push on the rash and the skin turns white before the rash returns then it is nothing to worry about.

    could also be heat rash.
my DD gets like that when she gets really hot.
first noticed it when we were in FIJI 4 months ago. but she also had Foot and Mouth.

I am not going to be much help, but both my DD's have developed little pimply things all over them. Not alot, just one here and there, but they are hard and like whiteheads. I am not sure what they are but will go to Doc's if not clear in a few days. Some of them look like TINY chicken pox, but it's been too long for that (they've been visible for about 2 weeks and not going away either). Kind of like blisters. Is that what your DS are like? xo
