We took dd to emergency for similar (she was screaming in pain though). Turns out it was a sign of dehydration.
UTI can get very painful very quickly (speaking from personal experience). It's not something I'd put off too long. If you have after hours gp access I'd take him to be checked. If not, keep up fluids and get him checked tomorrow
Oh, and if he's toilet trained and out of nappies I would consider putting him in one overnight (or make sure the mattress is protected) as UTIs can lead to accidents...
Hmm, he hasnt had much water today, maybe he is a little dehydrated. He has a has other stuf, but it had a bit of sugar in it. Ill try and get some water into him. He has been refusing it. Eating has been ok though.
He doesnt seem to have a sore throat.
So glad I can come to you guys for reliable info when DF tells me Im being silly. Haha
Eta, he wouldnt be constipated would he? He has had a fair amount of cashews in the last few days, but hs poos are still normal consistancy.
Hes not toilet trained yet. Stubborn little monkey has decided he wont sit on the toilet again. *sigh*
Constipation is about the consistency of the poo so if it's normal then no. Although if he's been eating a lot of something that he's not used to then that could cause an upset tummy but not affect the consistency. Not sure it would cause a sore penis though.
Trust your gut hun, As BG said don't let him get deydrated and if you are at all worried get him seen to.
