    Your friend is very lucky to have you. It is horrible that everything seems to happen to good people. Hopefully karma will turn around and little D will be okay and his mummy can see him again. DCF need to concentrate on cases that actually need their help.

    SO true the amount of kids that actually need help in phenomenal

    D is now status 1 and his liver is in complete failure, its just a matter of time now

    I couldn't read this and not comment, knowing many people in the 'industry' and dealing with them myself through families at work, etc, they do not take children, especially at birth for anything less than a very serious reason. No one here knows the family history so this kind of comment is not at all helpful.
    No doubt I will seem like a heartless b saying that, but that's how it is in my experience.
    I do feel extremely sorry for your friend and her situation though and pray that a miracle happens with the little boy.

    They took them away because before D was diagnosed with liver problems he was showing bruising on his abdomen! She is getting her youngest son back and they now know why D was showing this bruising they just believe that the boys have been in care with this carer for so long they believe it would be damaging to take them away etc etc they have stated other reasons but really its noones business or story to tell so i will leave it alone!
