Yeah it'd be the redipred. We were warned that it could hype him up a bit, same with ventolin when we were needing it every few hours. Fortunately it didn't affect my DS much at all in that way. You usually only use redipred for 2-3 days, so hopefully you'll all catch up on sleep soon!

Thanks ladies. I have used the same thing for DS1 and he doesn't get this side effect with it. Thankfully today is his last dose. I'm hoping tonight is a better night though because I'm buggered! He doesn't sleep the best as it is so being hyper is doing nothing for him! Plus right now he's so tired, but hyper and doesn't know what to do withhimself poor little man. I keep trying to get him to sleep but he just can't stay asleep, any little noise or movement is waking him.

Poor little man, never effected DD but have heard it can make some children hypo, hope he's feeling better soon.
