my little sister developed a slight stutter after my dad had a stroke that affected his speech - so hers was a environmental thing. It went away with the help of a speech pathologist tho (she still stutters if she gets stressed tho, 12 years later). i've also noticed some the little ones around me doing it when they are learning a new word...hope he has fun at pre-school!
