last night was average, day sleep very average (20 mins, though i did get her to resettle) but really she ws fine today, tonight not going so well, shes coughing again but i think the chest sucking stuff is over

Sounds like it was possibly croup.

I agree it is certainly sounding like croup, always hits worse at night....

Hopefully she is on the improve, DD has it atm, but we had the Pred at home and she needed it straight away along with her asthma meds, because she was having chest recessions We saw he Dr the next morning and he said that the first night is the worst so hopefully she will continue to improve, and that you can manage some rest too xxoo
