My DD's used to go up and down at various times during the day. Once I made a Drs appt in the morning, only for it to be perfect a few hours later! Is it the same all day or does it go up and down like my DD's did?

Keep offering him fluids and watch what it does. It could be one of those mystery things, but if it stays sunken then maybe get him to the Dr JIC

I've also heard about it being a sign of dehydration. I would offer lots of fluids (as I'm sure you are doing) and see how it goes for the rest of today. If you are really worried though, head to a doctor.
    I hope he gets better.

Thanks. He had a pretty big breastfeed this morning, and has had a couple of sips of water. He's not a big wee-er anyway, but his wees are the same as usual.

TBH I don't check his fontanelle very often - I just happened to check it this morning because he'd slept in (which he never does) and as he already has a cold I was just checking him over. I'll keep an eye on it throughout the day.

I agree with all the other posts. Just keep an eye on it for the next couple of days and offer plenty of fluids
