My DD1 had her tonsils out and was in heaps of pain for about two weeks. The dr said some children react like that and the best thing is to keep up the meds and normal foods. We used painstop and painstop night which worked a lot better than panadol. They have codeine in them which helps. You can get it over the counter, particularly when you tell them it is for post-op pain.

    Hope he feels better soon.

So I spoke to the surgeons secretary yesterday and they said there isn't much else to give him apart from the panadol/nurophen.

Was thinking about going to the pharmacy Tomoz and asking them.

Jersey is not a place on this earth, it's more like its own planet far far far away!!

Maybe they'd of heard of painstop.... But I won't count on it!

Hope there's something coz he's complaining of a sore ear now.

Upside.... He ate more today and seemed better. Talking more too. Except for the ear thing!

So so so much better! Although last night he had a temp and wet two beds! Actually, who am I kidding he wet them tonight! It's 4:00am!!!

I'm so tired now and DH is in Geneva for work and mum turns into a grump when she's woken up... He's in bed with her now

Poor little mower man! Hope he's ok.

I'm glad he's getting better (wet beds and all...) and I pray he continues to improve xoxo

I hope you're getting some sleep too! And that your mum is helping, not hindering around the place.

We were given oxycodone for ds1 and night was our worst too. Took about 3 weeks to get back to some kind of normal.

    Hope he's doing better x

He is a gazillion times better now. Don't think he's ever slept so well. It will be 3 weeks on Wednesday and he's totally back to eating me out of house and home! Hooray!
