Yep, the alternation every 4 hours is what my Dr told me. However, I thought Nurofen was for 1yr plus. Maybe give that 13 HEALTH a call like H & Z suggested.

Our GP said we can alternate them 2 hours apart, but that was when she was sick. I don't know if it would be a good thing to do on a regular basis (not saying you are or plan to )
Does one or the other seem to settle it better? Pie usually responds better to Nurofen for teething.
It might be worth getting her checked out JIC?

Yes you can give nurofen and panadol. I recomend alternating them and giving them 3 hours apart.

the current recomendations for panadol and neurofen is to actually give them together. This achieves a longer and better pain relief. It has been discovered that by staggering the dose (give one and then 2 hours later give the other), you are actually cutting off the first medications signals to the pain receptors therefor stopping it from achieving it's full optimal pain relief. It is safe to give them together. Because they have different dose times, give it at the longest duration (which would be the neurofen which is 6hrly).
