Was hoping you would say no because it is viral and antibiotics aren't needed - but many GP's still give them It can be a viral rash which is common in the little people and usually is nothing to worry about. For the bronchiolitis - a humidifier can help with the coughing. Otherwise there isn't much you can do unfortunately

Yeah we have a vaporiser thingy but we only have one of them - and its in DD's room cos her case of it is MUCH worse than his (plus since she is so young, we are doing our best to try to keep her from going to hospital!!)

Ahhh well.. best prepare for another sleepless night!

DS also breaks out in rashes whenever he gets a virus. Just thought I'd let you know you aren't alone in that.

I hope tonight isn't so bad for your DS, it's so hard when they are sick.

DD also has a similar rash at the moment, and is also suffering from a virus. The GP saw the rash yesterday and said it was related, he said if all of the virus symptoms havent cleared in 5 days to bring her back.

Are you going to take him to the doctors?
I guess it's hard to know if the rash will be there when you get in.

Bubbablue had a rash from a virus but it was more like a measles type looking rash thing.
Plus this dealio that's going on now.

    I'm not much help. Sorry.
I hope tonight is better for you all.

yeah Tenny, its a different looking rash to all the others that he has had to do with viruses - its very strange - all the others have been a bit spotty like - so not sure what this one is

Kellie - thanks, I think DH is going to try and take him to the doc tomorrow arvo if there is a spare spot...
