Your poor DD. she sounds run down. I would avoid AB's if I were you, as unless it's bacterial they won't help anyway.
I would get her onto some very good multi vitamins and olive leaf extract (health store).

Is this good news? I hope she turns around soon.

Not sure if its 'good' news, but its an explanation for her symptoms at least, and that is good news.

I hope the AB's kick in quickly and she is running rings around your pregnant tum tum soon.
Lots of rest and a lovely movie day with the fam-bam is in order I finx There's no better medicine than The Little Mermaid sometimes

Take it eazy breezy OP, and I hope the next update is better xxxx

Thanks guys, yeah it isn't great news but at least I feel vindicated in taking her. She's much brighter today, which apparently happens with this kind of thing, up and down.

Shanti it's something called mycoplasma which apparently is bacterial. So we'll give the ABs a try, pray hard and ask for a miracle as I really don't want her to be undergoing a chest X-ray and more blood tests... Which is the next step if the cough doesn't go away

Poor poppet. At least she was happier today. Asleep now... See what tomorrow brings.
