Oooh, I like it! The cup cake idea is great for kids with special diets too - you can make some gluten free, some dairy free, etc...

I will definitely keep this tip in mind.

BTW, when did you sing 'happy birthday'? After the kids had decorated their cakes?

We kinda forgot to sing happy Birthday I was busy getting the cakes ready on the table while the kids helped Isaac open his presents and then they all made a mad dash for the table once we told them what it was for
