My son was not circumcised. I grew up in a country where circumcicions were only done for religious or medical reasons. Had never even heard of routine circumcisions before moving to Australia. The concept is still very strange to me and I just don't understand it. None of the common reasons given make any sense to me. DH is Aussie, but he was not circumcised either (although his father was). For us, circumcision was never an option. In fact, we would have had serious marital problems if DH had insisted on a circumcision. If DS wants it done later on, it is his choice to make. But judging by the results of this poll, he will not be the odd one out. I am really glad to see that.
I don't judge people for doing it. I simply do not understand it.
