SS - liners... liners?? Do you mean inserts? I always recommend the bamboo inserts from green kids - I use the combo of a microfibre insert and bamboo insert during the day - and chuck in the booster for night time.

OMG I looooove my GK's!!!! Those are my favourite at the moment alongside my happy heiny's.... oh and my pop-ins too!!! yep addicted!

DD wears Peapods sometimes at night and they've never leaked once!! I know you hear alot of mixed reviews about them but they work just great for my DD's butt

OMG I got them this morning!!!!!!!! They are soooooooooo pretty!! I tried them on DD already to see what they would look like when I was changing her nappy made her cranky. I was surprised they're not actually that bulky, although maybe anything would look slim around those thighs, pmsl. Now I have to wash them!! Can't wait to use them!! Oh no, I think I'm going to be addicted to this.

Some questions! How many times do I wash them first? Do I have to dry in between (please no)? A warm or hot wash? Will the colours run ?? I usually use vinegar for a fabric softener and coz it gets rid of any chemicals left from the detergent apparently, can I still do this or is it not good?

SJ - no vinegar - not recommended cos can destroy the elastic. With the bumg's just one wash to remove the manufacturing crap off them. They are only microfibre inserts, so the absorbency doesn't build up in them like it does if you buy, say, bamboo or hemp. So just one wash is fine.

If you have bamboo or hemp boosters/inserts - its usually 3 washes before reaching absorbency - but I just wash them once and use them, but keep in mind that they won't last as long because they haven't been washed enough.

Oh and I do a cold pre-wash and then a warm wash on my nappies.

Oh yeah and can I use my normal washing powder (bio zet) or should I get something different??

I'm scared of warm/hot washes, I only ever use cold normally. Too scared of colours running, lol. So it won't happen with the nappies?? Will I get fluff everywhere from the minkee one?

Ummm don't know about biozet to be honest - might have too many "things" in it, like whitening stuff - don't want any of that crap in there!

I just use like, Amolin or something like that. You only use half of the recommended dose anyway (so like, I use about a quarter of a lid full for half a load of nappies).

I don't get minky going on other nappies - I do if I put a flat in there, they go a bit fluffy - but you can just pull it off. I've never bothered separating any of mine (mind you, I have two in cloth, so I don't have much spare time!! lol)
