Ittis are front snapping closure. Nappies like blueberries come in side snapping, my GFs are side snapping...hmmm can't think of any more off the top of my head. The snapp is like the press stud.

Wicking happens sometimes when clothes are too tight against the nappy. So the moisture in the nappy leaks from the inside usually via the leg opening if there is some of the inner material that reaches to the outside. When the inner if the nappy comes into contact with clothes the moisture 'wicks' from the nappy to the clothes. Does that make sense?
