Sorry for the long absence but I have a good reason... I have been flat out costuming a very elaborate play for a theatre group. We just finished this weekend just gone so now I have some time to scratch myself again.

So this is what I do in my other life...hehe..... 8 months of solid designing, drafting and sewing finally paid off....and it looks like I might be nominated for a best costume award from the Victorian drama League this year too...YAY for me!!
Now I can finally get back to nappy making and maybe even some knitting for a bit of relaxation!

Gigi - bum is good... face is a little better since the barrier creaming around the mouth. she is back on dairy and no flareups so what does that say lol......... only time will tell. Excited to be back in cloth!

I am going to sew up some prefolds from flannell i have gotten this morning.
Should i throw a layer of microfibre in the middle of the centre pannel...

Melbel - fantastic costumes and great photos, i seriously want the male actor's black boots. Yep, i think that is the best excuse i have ever heard, for someone being quiet on this thread!

Nelle - SIX washloads to do! ye gads! that;s a bit scarey. I wouldn't have space to hang up six loads of washing, let alone do it LOL.

Well i just sewed my first prefold
i did it 2 x 7 x 2... i hope that is ok... (the extra layer in the centre (to make 7 not 6) is a centre of microfibre... thought it might help). and they rest is flannel
