Thanks guys - its good to be back.

Hey, how do you fold a flat for a newborn - girl? I mean, I use flats with the pad bit in the middle for DS for his piddly widdly bit, but have no idea how to fold it for a newbie? She is so tiny (which is amazing considering she is considered to be a "good size") but she has the same hips as her brother - ie none to speak of - and skinny binny legs. So which would be the best folding method for her yucky gross poos?

I've got some prefolds too from FJ but don't exactly know what to do with them!!!!

    WOAB: Haute pocket
WOMB: Sposie till we get this folding method right!! (Don't want to use MCN's till yucky poos gone - but can sacrifice flats!!)

Well checked my letter box and the IB were there - woo hoo! Pretty impressed I only ordered them on Monday afternoon.

Look pretty good, haven't tried them on him yet. Can I ask what the snaps under the booster are for though Just had a quick look but couldn't work that out!

    welcome back mel!!!
Hope you and that gorgeous girl are all good!

Katones - was it you asking about washing things? Depends on the nappy adn the fabric - you should have care instructions come with them, otherwise look them up in the websites....like BumG's can be washed (and they recommend) hot, and can be tumble dried, where as tehre are some that cannot be washed hot.
Hemp and bamboo take a fair few washes before they reach their max absorbancy, butyou dont want to wash them 10 times before you even use them! lol So just keep that in mind
I wash most of mine twice, and I use powder, I dont think liquid or powder makes a difference. Oh, and my norma wash is cold wash, warm rinse, inserts in the dryer with my night nappies

    Ness - have fun hun!

Willow - sneaky sneaky with the LS - I love it!! lol

Well, we are sick. Both of us poor little thing has been hideous for 2 days now, had a temp of 38.7 yesterday afternoon so she has had more panadol in the last 36 hours than she has had in her whol elife! And I feel like cr@p too so thats not helping....we spent all day today in bed - so glad DF is back tonight!! I may get some rest tomorrow!

    WOHB: Sposies still
