hubby does not care about the nappies.. as long as he can do the nappies up he will be fine, so i best not ever leave bub with him when he has flanny flats on :P he won't be able to cope with a safety pin....

tra la laaaaaaaa and the first load of post-holiday nappies is in the machine, can't believe I'm excited about that

Maz - Magicalls just don't suit Pip either, horrid things they are.

While we were on hols (and using sposies) we must have had a dodgy batch from NurtureNappies (ack) the bamboo ones - the tabs kept pulling off. AND they were $24 / pack!!!!!! I had to buy 3 packs of them, imagine what I could have bought with $75. I do think Pip prefers cloth, he was pulling at the sposies heaps. But that could have been the gaff tape wrapped around his tummy to keep the nappies on.

Hi all! Punky's NR is still pretty awfull, seems no better but thankfully also no worse. Ikead it up today & had a leak with my beloved bumwear!! I think it was a compression thing as she was snug in the ergo, might have to boost next time.

Katones, I used flanny flats for the first four or five months, and I didn't use anything to fasten them! You're right, snappis don't work on flannellette, nothing for it to grip onto. I hated pins though, and found that as long as I had a good cover over the top (eg Motherease Rikki or Eenees snib!), the nappy stayed folded in place with no dramas

QM, hope to see you tomorrow! I'll give you my NR tips if we catch up Poor Punky, and mum, NR sucks big time!

I have just done my first nappy only load! I now have a stash big enough to fill my 8kg washing machine with some left out! Yay!!!

Every other wash with nappies in it has had coloured clothes too.

Lets hope I have a decent excuse to buy more nappies soon! I think we might wait till 12 weeks with #3 to start spending money though after last week. I am getting through it now that AF is on the way out the door, she was a constant reminder every time I went to the loo

I cant wait to be able to celebrate a sticky one with you girls! Can anyone gues what the baby bonus will buy for #3? I might need blue fluff if I get my way!

Kaz did you keep what was left? I'd complain about that! You might get them replaced.

I crashed out on the couch lastnight and my delightful DH put the boys to bed. He informed me when I was stumbling off to bed at 9pm, that he put one of Masons nappies on Caleb and it came up to his armpits He still doesn't reach for cloth to put on Caleb after almost 2 years
