Did they give you an extra 20 or 50cm to cover the fault? If they hadn't, then I'd complain, but if they gave you an extra length ....

OOohhhh Maz, where? who? *heads off to look*

meh, they should have, the manufacturer generally puts tags in the selvedge at faults.(from most material we bought for our business, across several manufacturers)
Good luck with getting your voice heard

I'm so lazzzzzy and I'm actually amazed my nappies are dry (albeit cold) so just bringing in the airer to in front of the fire. Am wondering if DH will get upset if I dedicate a drawer of our new dresser to nappies?

Went to the accountants yesterday and should be getting near $2,000 back! First thing I told DH is "Whoo hoo - here comes fluffy mail!" To which he rolled his eyes!

Still waiting for my latest fluffy mails to arrive so I can plan the next purchase... watch this space!

Ness - you can't use it can you? So just ask for what you paid for honey!

WOHB - Err... I think it's a BBB + PUL (last thing we had in the drawer) I've folded the fresh stuff now so could be anything next! No, wait - it's my fav Blueberry!! I forgot about the poo-ey one earlier (which was in the BBB) - der, baby brain!

    Happy Birthday Caleb!

How are you feeling now Christy?

Pink - did you give the CC worker / team leader a demonstration of how to put a MCN on your bub? The people i've shown at CC understand it quickly when they see it, but give me blank looks when i've tried to just explain with words. I've worked out it's more important that the team leader of the room sees the demo, cos the workers come n go, team leader is more likely to stay.

Queen M - WTG on crotchetting a bib - that's a new one on me, yeh you!

What is this about a Sept 6th meetup, i thought it was Sept 13th?

    WOTBB:

Maz - i looked at the Sugar Boogers nappy bags, tis not ONE bag there in cowprint, so which one did you get?

Did you see the new COWPRINT wetbags Greenkids have just brought out?

oh and Maz, i just did a purple dye lot two days ago, and put the items in a solution of half vinegar and half water for a day - just washed them again to test if the dye is fast - and it isn't ! what did i do wrong? i was hoping to avoid the "separate washing" for X times before dye stops running. I tried to remember all your vinegar tips! i bet i missed sometihign crucial you said.

i got a gorgeous violet/purple colour that i'm really happy with, it was the purple white DYLON bottle you get at supermarkets, but i was SO looking forward to the vinegar trick working! Was i meant to DRY the items first? Cos i took them out of th ewashing machine WET and put them straight into the vinegar/water solution.

FJ - want to find out what this Lily thing is that everyone is mentioning. off to see whot's on your blog and wahmnaps store (even though i miss half the text on the wahmnaps site - have no idea why that is blocked to me).

Pink - so the shorties are waterproof now? that's great! what did you do differently?

Thanks for the birthday wishes We just got back from LaPorchetta for tea where the little bloke can indulge in all his fav foods pizza, pasta and chips. (We all order what we want and let him graze off our plate). Mmmmm!

Ness the bamboo I've co-opped both times has had holes like that.
It's not that hard to cut boosters around those holes or use that little section to check the tension on your overlocker before you begin sewing as the bamboo is quite dense and you will need to adjust if if you are moving between different fabrics. I always do a test strip before I sew anything. I felt it was better to junk that bit than use a perfect piece of bamboo IYKWIM.

PP there are miracle balls that some use with the nappies to be detergent free too.

I need a lesson in LSing. After my first attempt I had to wipe down the walls and floor and poo was everywhere I didn't get it on myself except for my pants thank goodness
