Yeah Isla isn't at the stage of asking when she needs but if the potty is there she wants to use it. She poo's in the toilet more then her nappy, but that me knowing she needs to & racing her off lol
Thanks girls re: the bib - we even used it last night - now to see how it washes. I said I was off to start 'another' project but in reality I'm just doing another bib , have to make the edges better etc, and THEN I can move on.
Maz, you are too nice is all, if it were me, I'd be like "Well, I've made it now, and I've got your money, so enjoy!!"
Gigi - That prolly 'cause you'd be like "Why would anyone want to KNIT a bib?!" lol, DP was like "Nooooo!" When I put it on Punky for dinner, he thought it was just for 'show'??!!
FJ - You know what, I think it was cornflour that made the Punk's butt super sore, it was getting red so I tried it as everyone here recommended & not long after, yeochies like we've never had yeochies before.
Nelle - did you see my post about loving you to death if you really could pick us up for the meet sweets?? Don't feel you have to or anything but well, I would love you!! Don't worry at all if you do have to take Riv after all though Hun (or you've just decided I am a nutter & would rather not... ), just wondering whether I should be racking my brain about what sort of plate to make (hehe... of food) or not worry!
LOL FJ i bought the medium rockmelon.. (hmmm can a boy wear rockmelon??) oh well he will be :P
FJ how many times prior to bub wearing your lil jacks do i need to wash them?? and any recommendations for washing?? cold/hot water? liquid??
I would give them 1 or 2 prewashes, the materials are prewashed before sewing but to get that extra absobency thing happening you could go 1 or 2 mor etimes, & just wash as you would your other MCN.
LOL Maz :P hubby is going to go crazy with all these fluffies for his boys bum....hehehe now to just get the evil MIL to get her head around them.... as when i go back to work she is watching bub.
LOL Maz... my mum says good on me for using the cloth... i used cloth 9yrs ago with my oldest (terry flats) and went lazy with my son... but my MIL she is the MIL from hell.. she does NOT stop interfearing.. she had an argument with OH saying "you can't put my grandson in cloth nappies.. blah blah blah.. & screamed at him like a banshee!!! he turned around & said well i am supporting K and you need to keep your nose out of it.
Itti Bitti is on it's way.... woo hoo!! the only thing that was wrong with it was that the itti bitti label was on upside down....
I know it has been AGES since I've posted in here. I haven't been lurking - I have just been offline for awhile. DS has been sick virtually all winter and I just didn't have the energy or desire at night to do much on the computer.
He is crawling all over me at the moment so I'll try to come back tonight and write more.
lol don't you love the itti bitti faults K. :P
I saw the Ittis, but I've already got the Green and Turquoise large, I want some reds, rockmelons, yellows...I might get a pack perhaps.
Mabel m'love, yes you are coming to the meet at Mel's with me - warning, last time, I took Cat and I DID almost kill her by almost pulling in front of a van at a roundabout...but we were talking about something very interesting at the time...and I was pregnant, which means I was about 400% less alert. :P
All these toilet training kids, are they on pottys? We've got a toilet seat for Riv, but...yeah...not much of a clue. I've heard boys tend to take a bit longer anyway, so not fussed.
ETA: Hi Heidi! Sick kids are a pain hey, poor things. Si's sick at the moment, all snuffly, I feel sorry for him.
Uh oh... i was naughty.... bought an ib, some bls & some gorgies from maz. Tax return hasnt even hit the accoutn yet .
Im spending my day staring wistfully at 'current balance' and wishing it would appear in 'available funds' as well.
