for anyone wondering about the Snoozywuns, here's my detective work, ye olde cut n paste from the widdlewuns store on ozebaby, from a snoozywuns listing:

"Snoozywuns are made up of a Malden Mills Windpro Outer and Sherpa (85% Cotton 15% Polyester) innner. We have chosen Sherpa as our inners as we wanted a Natural fibre next to your bubs delicate skin for those long periods of time that bubs is asleep ;o) Snoozywuns have been tested on even the heaviest of wetters for up to 14hrs with NO leaks including compression leaks.
They are also super fast to dry as they are the same styling as our regular nappies....being an AI2 so they all pull apart ;o) They have also been designed to be much trimmer than the usual styles of Night Nappies )
Snoozywuns contain 13 layers of Bamboo Fleece and do not need a seperate cover. They also contain no PUL so have fabtastic breathability and a lovely stretchiness about them."

WOTBB: Poochies fitted nappy with aqua/purple longies - gee i will be sad when she grows out of those.

Nessa - picked up the fixed overlocker this afternoon, hoping we will be well enough for tomorrow's sewing day.

MAZ - i can barely remember sending you a mama pad (only half awake), was that the post partnum/night one with butterflies on it? if so, i had that made (by Noonee Wilga at the clothpadshop website) cos i knew you liked butterflies. i figure in the midst of everyone sending teddybears and nb clothes when you're expecting, it would be nice for the MUMMA to get something for herself.

since we're "sharing" : my AF returned four months after having bilby. bet you all really wanted to know that! LOL.

14 days! Are you having to take iron supplements or something? My body would be very irate at that.
5 months and no AF here, think it came 7 months after Riv, but felt some twinges lately that could mean something's up soon...who knows really.

I still haven't got off my butt and ordered my Ittis...I'm so slack.

    morning ladies....

all good here, slowly getting my way through bubs clothes and washing them, thing is though.. i DON'T for the life of me want to wash the nappies....strange i know...

question... do i need to wash the BBH PUL covers a certain amount of times prior to use??

Nelle my body doesn't absorb iron so I'm already on 3 times the normal supplements for it (after giving birth my body decided food wasn't good enough for me ). Before I was on the supplements I could barely stand up when AF came, and if I forget to take them I'm a lump.... a lovely lady lump.

ETA: better say something nappy related ROFL..... its been beautiful nappy drying weather up here in wonderland. I'd better do another load. I've gotta start thinking about day care soon. I'll have to do some swaps of BBB with AIO's soon. When we move to Sydney she'll be in day care 3 days a week rather than two, and I can only just keep up with keeping her in her pockets now. LMAO.... Otherwise I'll have to teach the staff how to deal with BBB + cover.... but that may be a good thing too because they last longer. Hmmmmm..... maybe she'll TT.

im stocked that mine lasted 5 days...back to normality...I use to have them for 8 days pre cloth and i seem to have wedged an extra week into my cycle...so now AF every 5 weeks (you so didnt want to hear that did you Christy)

OH have the funniest thing to share (and I'll put up a pic I promise) Ive had sposies on Mat the last 3 days cause a cant be bothered and he's had the worst nappy rash this sid eof the moon since wearing the magicals......anyway, we go to go for our nightly shower and jed walks in holding him away....Shiat explosion all out the top of his nappy..everywere and **** it STUNK!!!! We've never had that with cloth at all. Not like this...its wasnt huge but it was all out the top.

Looking for camera now to load into gallery...sorry if you see any nipples or anything...its part and parcel in the trade isnt it

    hi girls -

Katones - yep Beatrix is right - only give them one wash and you will be ready to use! they are not like the nappies that require absorbancy washes

Kazbah - Any fluffy mail yet?

ON the whole Af thing - my last AF was september 2006. (just before my BFP with Ashley) - it never returned when BF-ing and then got a BFP with #2 - 7 months after Ashley was born.

So almost 2 years of no AF and not complaining!!! lol

CHristy after all this time i am dreading what it is going to be like - talking vengence! ARRHHH

Ashley is at kindy for day 2 - she seemed a little more interactive today so i felt a little better (after a cry in bed last night about leaving her there today) .

WOHB - baby cheeks pocket... hoping that more than 2 nappies changes happens this time!

    Ewwwww Maz.

Lol at the Suey hug, perhaps we'll co-ordinate and come at her from different angles. :P

Ahhh Christy, my body's a bit like that with iron apparently, but I must absorb some since I'm still alive and all...

What nappies are people loving for their older kids? I'm thinking of more Ittis for Riv, but want to know what else you guys are loving for your older ones.

Double Ewwwwwwww Maz!! That is one special blow out!!

My god Christy, jealous of the no AF for 18months, less so of the AF every 14 days though!

Beatrix & Gigi, hope y'all enjoy your sewing day!

Uh, nappies, nappies.... erm, I have to put some in the cupboard but that's hardly news.... oh, I used your cover last night Maz & it was great, glad I got the large - boosted a BBH with a bamboo trifold last night & it fit over the lot!

    WOPB: Pink bumwear... what else??

Nelle - I just saw the thing under your name "Automatic doors make me feel like a Jedi"... (I know it's probably been there for always.....)
