Yaaaay Maz! The fact that it's easy to put on is why I got it, I just wanted something I could chuck on around the house, or just quickly if I just need something for 10min or so.

I've found 1 icon, but I'm not looking too hard to be honest.

A 6 pack of D'lish and 6 mini boosters fell into my cart last night...oopsy.

    I see you!

Nothing exciting here, just watching old home movies of Riv and Si, and laughing, and admiring their nappies. Got some Ittis on the way though, looking forward to getting them! Then...I think it will just be a spesh nappy here and there...

Went to a play centre with Janie today, had good fun racing her down the big slides. I mean, helping the boys go down the big slides...yeah, that's it.

ETA: I dunno Maz, if you can smell it......you know what they say - he who smelt it, dealt it. :P

I'm here The only nappy related thing I have to talk about is that I had to do a strip wash of ALL my nappies today. I washed them as per usualy this morning, and when I lifted the washing machine lid to get them out, they still stunk. So I strip washed them, and they smell and feel like brand new again ... well almost anyway.
Haven't bought any new nappies lately, but I did buy a new car today Doesn't quite count as fluffy mail does it?!

WOOHOO Jodi! I've got a new car this week too!

Nelle, DS is walking around everywhere tonight, I think today just gave him that spur he needed! Great to see you all today!

    Jols, how's Sophie now?

Sal, hope you're enjoying that fluffy mail

Guys, Nelle is so great at a playcentre, she had me going down the big slides and everything! You should see her on a slide, she's so fast LOL, they beat us every time Poor DS wanted to win, just once! Eastern 'burbs girls, you need to come along next time! And Nelle's gorgeous mum picked me up, as the grrrr mechanics didn't have my car ready in time, so how nice was that?

WOHB: fleece night pocket stuffed to the max with bamboo!

Put a nappy in the car and then go have to get it then its nappy related!!!!

Janie, next time she goes down the slide ask her to name a song then go, will win all the time!!

Maz, what is the best cover size to get for SIL who is expecting next year. She uses sposies but we are hoping to convert her.

What are the best / cheapest nappies to get as I am thinking of giving a cloth nappy as a present instead of clothes etc.

    lol Rivlas!!

To give a nappy as a gift, I would buy something like a D'lish or minkee magicall. They're super cute, and fantastic to use. Make sure you get an awesome colour too, how could anyone not convert after receiving that!
As for size of covers, Probably a small or medium. Newborn bub will grow out of too quickly, and it'll take forever to use the large.

i have been locked out of belly belly due to me and my computer forgetting my password (to bely belly), so this is the first opportunity i have to wish

VYOLETT HAPPY BIRTHDAY WHEN YOU"RE TWOOOOOOO!

    Katones
    hemp nappies need 6 - 8 pre-washes
    bamboo i think needs 3
    cotton and microfibre - 1

wash all the white terry stuff in one load by it's lonesome, esp if you got dark polar fleece in some of your nappies, the lint from the white terry goes EVERYWHERE!

so if you got white terry flats, terry materials nappies like tots bots fitteds, do yourself a favour and do those ones separate to the rest

if you don't have any lint dropping terry fabric nappies, then - no worries, will be a doddle.

RIVLAS - what about a Greenkids Minkytimes - a OSFA aplix closing pocket?

AJP - how is Sophie faring with foot n mouth disease? is it painful for her?

WOTBB: wot evah night nappy combo dh chose - i just keep the basket full - that time of night, Aust Idol is on, i am BUSY. It's Mummy's Time!

Childcare managed to put a minky pocket nappy on bilbs today SUCCESSFULLY that wasn't our usual (Swaddlebees). i tested them out and they passed! woot. (but it was still side snaps, so the familiar concept was still there).

Mum, when you say present, do you mean for a newborn? Like Auntie I's? I agree with Jodi's D'Lish or Magicall ideas. Also, I think something like a small Motherease Rikki cover - until she's committed to cloth - any leaks before that and she'll think 'ahh it's too hard and they don't work'. And I've never had a leak with a Motherease Rikki. Unless she doesn't want to use flats at all.
Gigi's idea of a GreenKids is good too. She probably won't be able to use that from birth though (she's tiny and has tiny babies Gigi).

By the way, had a giggle at you locking yourself out of BB Gigi! You're like an absent-minded professor or something. :P Too funny, glad you found your BB 'keys'.

Never mind about the slide Sez, you will just have to train hard for next time. Get one of those fancy aerodynamic suits designed maybe. And next time I will let you have the red slide - you know why.

Right, well I crashed on the couch again tonight while Rans was out, but I think I'm ready for bed again now.
