Ok have just washed and lanolised 5 pair of longies, hopefully I can try them out tommorrow night, I have a pair of white/cream ones though would be size L if anyone can use them as white and cooper are not a good mix, just pay postage and they are yours, pm if your interested, they are brandnew knitted from 8 plywool, will need washing and lanolising.

Anyone know of a good EASY Pattern for shorties, let me know please.

Mel, before you give them away, why not just dye them? Dip dying could be fun! No idea how to do it, but I reckon you should find out!

Maz, the midwife said 2 years, but I'm going to see how I feel at the 12 month mark, if I feel ready for another I'll get some blood tests done to see how healthy I am. If I'm only going to have 3 I don't want a huge gap between the last 2. Interesting about the pink feeling! I always think of having 3 boys, but I wonder if that's so I'm not disappointed if I do have another lovely boy (since boys never call their mums once they move out).

Wow Ness, that is a lot of icons! Well done mate! Pace yourself mate, it's only the 5th! Let me know if you find them all, I'll give you a Nelly prize (don't get too excited, we're all aware most kindy kids can do better handiwork than me :P).

What shall I do tonight...? Dh has a mate coming over and I think they'll comandeer the tv and I'm a bit cheesed off at him...hmm...

    Hi All!
    I'm back yet again!
I disappeared again because James had a nasty double ear infection and two days after he started his antibiotics I came down sick with a bad head cold. I actually spent most of that weekend in bed - something I almost never do (even before we had kids).
Anyway - tonight I'm feeling like a heel because I got really cranky with darling husband right after he got home from work. But gosh, he walked in the door, complained that I didn't make him enough dinner, and then promptly turned the television on so James started watching instead of doing the puzzles we were working on. I know it sounds petty - but I had a really rough day with James today - he is sick again I think as his nose has been running like crazy all day. And he had a horrible night sleep last night so all he did was whine and complain all day and I was just over EVERYTHING by bedtime tonight!

Ok - whinge over - need to think of something nappy related to say...

I got two mother-ease covers off buy4baby awhile back and they were a bargain. I think I got smalls or mediums in preparation for bubba #2 though getting pregnant is proving MUCH more difficult the second time around. It would help if we weren't all sick all the time.

There are so many lovely lovely nappies on buy4baby right now but I'm making myself not spend any money cause there just isn't any money to spend.

Okay I'm sounding very depressing so I will sign off and try to write later when I'm in a better mood.

yes, Pip's still ill. DH had to collect him from CC today - they phoned up around 2:45 as he had a temp of 39.6deg. He slept (there) until 9:30 even though I woke him @ 7am b4 dropping him off by changing his nappy. The CC worker agrees she LOVES minkee nappies!!!!!! Cause they feel good!!!! woOHOOO!!!!

Anyhows, he apparently has an ear infection and is on anti-b's so we're going to use sposies for a little bit.

wWoHB - dalmation BP mmmmm, minkeeeeeeee

I'm waiting on platinum panties fluffy mail!!!!

Oh you loser QM, who wants to get up early! Okay, we're both going to be there on Tuesday, right, right?

I don't know what to do about our night nappy situation. Apart from the fact I can't afford any real ones right now, I don't see how we would come out ahead, financially, using night nappies over sposies???????? I don't want to use sposies, and I hate how bad they are for the enviroment, but I don't have a huge amount of choices ATM.

    Sook over!

WOHB: we won't mention it, I said the sook was over LOL

Never mind Sez, it really comes down to why you use cloth. If you use it for environmental reasons mainly, then you might need to sort out a solution, get some bamboo material and make some trifolds to give your nappies Poweeeer. But if you're like me and use cloth for financial reasons, and my mum buys us a pack of sposies when I'm sick, well there's not much guilt there at all. The fact that cloth is good for the environment is a bonus, and I do care about it, but the crunch for us is money, that's our reality.

QM we are sooo low on milk atm because I can't be faffed going grocery shopping either...good on you for going in the morning!

Ahh sick kids are so taxing aren't they Heidi, hope James is heaps better really soon.

WOOHOOO! I have now convinced "the nappy lady" in Upwey to stock MooGoo - and she loves it!

with Pip on AB-s we've using sposies, guess its a good way to get all the nappies clean, and its so sunny!!! I've just bought a new type of bamboo nappies to try - miosomething-or-other? Hope they're OK, quite exy. But only for a week I think.

Gudi - sorry it took so long.
