Janie - Yes!! Well, hopefully yes... The Punk is STILL sick, doesn't seem any better at all tbh, but she's not grumpy, just snotty!! Fingers crossed that she is over it by tuesday. Have you ever tried the old school double terry flat for night trick??? I do it occasionally & it gets us from 11.30 or so 'till the morning. If you get more sleep than I do though you might be in trouble!

I left my shopping at woolies last week & didn't realise until I went to put something under the pram & I was like "where are the groceries...?!", then, this morning, I got cash out at the house of target & almost walked off without it!! )

I haven't been icon hunting since the first day!! Kinda proud of myself tbh - that is until the mad rush in the last week or something... when I'll be glued in front of the 'puter.

Was very impressed the night before last. DD had a BBB & PUL cover on & I fell asleep feeding her in bed so she was in it for 9 hours & no leaks or pooplosions!!!

Anyone have any recommendations for AIO/AI2 nappies? and covers?
We already have Magicalls, BumG, IB Snap-Ins, Haute Pocket
Covers we have Baby Beehinds PUL & Wool, Ish Fly PUL, Bummis

Or even nappy & cover combos? and if you've seen them on sale anywhere.

Would like to get more so I can have DD in MCN full-time. Im sick of folding flats & having to iron them coz we have no clothes line & they come out of the drier all crinkly & wont fold properly, then leak out the top if I dont iron them

Only nappy news is that Euan moved onto the largest setting on BumGs today! Boofer child. They're still a bit harry highpants on him, but he had a tradies crack on the middle setting.

No pregnancy to report from here yet but we ARE trying!! *grin* But I won't know for at least another 2-3 weeks so I'll be sure to keep you all posted!

Feeling a bit better from the other night when I posted. Good thing for me is that DH doesn't hold grudges and wasn't cranky with me at all.

I was at a friend's surprise 50th today and was changing DS and when I asked if he wanted cloth or sposie on his bum he requested cloth! What a good boy he is!!

I do use sposies at night with him - simply can't afford much in the way of night nappies - hoping to fix that problem by the time a second one is his age.

Okay I MUST make myself go to bed reasonably early tonight - DS has been waking frequently again and it is wearing me down. Last night (because I was stupid and didn't go to bed until midnight) I got a whopping total of 3 hours of sleep - though this is in part also due to the fact that DH had ideas for interrupting my sleep when he FINALLY decided to come to bed at 3:30am and since we are TTC I did oblige him! *wink wink nudge nudge*

I hope all the Sydney-siders are surviving this rainy period - I have clothes hanging all over the house trying to dry!

Maz I hope that feeling you have is for me! AF is due Thursday.

We are about half way through packing up everything. I have 4 garbage bags of MY clothes going to the op shop tomorrow and a couple of suitcases of stuff to keep. so I have majorly downsized my wardrobe. we have gotten rid of heaps of crap from the whole house though.

I put the girls nappies into a suitcase so we could use the crates for other stuff. they have 1 and a bit suitcases worth of nappies.

I am worried that the move will make Sarah regress with the TT. She has been REALLY sooky lately so I think she knows there are big changes coming. I have been trying to make it sound like fun for her. I asked her on the way home from Ness's if she wanted to go on a plane, and she was saying and Emma, and Daddy and Mummy. I think she might think it is a bit of a let down though.

Should she wear nappies for the flight or let her wear knickers?

Sarah and I had fun with Ness and the girls. MJ has the Biggest smile! Em is sick though so she stayed home with Daddy.

SKITTLEBUB - is it you who wants ideas of nappies to buy your one month old? Are you getting pootainment for ALL styles of nappies at this stage, or just the fitteds with covers? Do you want to know about sales on for any of the MCN you already have? Cos Nurture Nappies have Bumgenius AIO's on sale right now. I wasn't sure if YOUR BG's were aio's or pockets.

NELLE - "only" going to have three? LOL, that doesn't sound like "only" to me! Good on you. Three sounds like a lovely number to me.

ALIOOPS - are you leaving your current accomodation Monday, or going to Townsville on Monday? wow, it's all happening for you. so exciting but i bet heaps of work too. I would use nappies on the plane, so if an accident happens, less embarrassment. I guess you have to expect some regression when kids are unsure of stuff. I bet the sun / outdoor lifestyle of where you're going , will be much more conducive to TT-ing anyhoo, it'll work out.

ME; due to the cold hard light of reality and money, bilby and i won't be coming to the Sept 13th meetup in Melbourne (big sigh), i really had my heart set on this, but i was obviously dreaming and being a bit unrealistic. Ummm spent WAAAY too much on eht GDUNH so far - got some clothing from TwinkleLily and a necklace from sparkling dragon designs. (a rhinocerous!)

One of the leg elastic is gone in my BG... how do i replace it (i have a sewing machine)

cut a little hole on the inside on the nappy were the 'tubing' section (top and bottom) for the elastic is and with a safety pin...feed elastic through from one end to the other....securely sew down the end and with the needle still down in the nappy pull the elastic until it wont stretch any more and sew until the end of the tubing...cut of remaining elastic and vola!

Im covered in minkee fluff!!!
